INFORMATION

The Mexican Heritage Society is proud to sponsor Ballet Folklorico Herencia Mexicana, a group of dancers dedicated to learning and performing traditional Folkloric dances representing States and Regions of Mexico.  By pairing beautiful costumes with dance steps, the team of dancers give an incredible show.  This is one of the many ways the society preserves and shares Mexican culture.   Participation is open to the public for anyone interested in learning and performing.  The group is broken up into three levels based on age and experience. Registration is open to ages 6 years through adult and is typically held in late Spring of every year.  Practices begin after registration through September with a grand performance at Fiesta.  The Society brings in dance instructors from Houston to teach and prepare the dancers for Fiesta.  Dancers also perform at events throughout the year. They are available to book for performances at fairs, carnivals, parties, showers, quinceañeras, church and company events, and just about any other family friendly event under the sun!  Check back often or follow our Facebook page for announcements on our next open registration dates.  If you are interested in booking the dancers please see below for contact information.​

La Mexican Heritage Society se enorgullece de patrocinar el Ballet Folklórico Herencia Mexicana, un grupo de bailarines dedicados al aprendizaje y la realización de danzas Folklóricas tradicionales que representan a los Estados y Regiones de México. Al combinar hermosos trajes con pasos de baile, el equipo de bailarines ofrece un espectáculo increíble. Esta es una de las muchas formas en que la sociedad preserva y comparte la cultura mexicana. La participación está abierta al público para cualquier persona interesada en aprender y actuar. El grupo está dividido en tres niveles según la edad y la experiencia. La inscripción está abierta para mayores de 6 años hasta adultos y generalmente se realiza a fines de la primavera de cada año. Las prácticas comienzan después del registro hasta Septiembre con una gran actuación en Fiesta. La Sociedad trae instructores de baile de Houston para enseñar y preparar a los bailarines para Fiesta. Los bailarines también se presentan en eventos durante todo el año. Están disponibles para reservar para presentaciones en ferias, carnavales, fiestas, quinceañeras, eventos de iglesia y de compañía, y casi cualquier otro evento familiar bajo el sol.
